Our catalogue covers hundreds of documents, but no catalogue covers everything: local permits, university cards and one-off application forms all exist, and new ones appear every year. There are two ways forward.
If you know the size, use a size page
Most documents that are not listed by name use one of a handful of standard sizes — 35×45 mm across most of Europe, 2×2 inches in the United States, 33×48 mm in Canada, and so on. The application form or the office's web page almost always states the size in millimetres.
Open the documents index, search for the size instead of the name, and use that page. You get the same processing, the same checks and the same print sheets; the only thing you lose is the document-specific rule list, which for a local form is usually just "plain background, neutral expression".
If you do not know the size
Ask the office, or read the form again — the requirement is nearly always printed next to the box where the photo goes. Two numbers in millimetres are enough for us.
Tell us, and we will add it
At the bottom of the documents index there is a short form: the country, the name of the document, and a link to the official page if you have one. That is all we need.
We check every submission against the authority's own published requirement before we add it — that is what the verified badge on a document page means, and how our editorial process works. A document with a public official source is usually in the catalogue within a few days, and we email you when it is.
If you already paid for a photo at the wrong size, write to us from the contact page with the order number. Re-rendering at a different size costs us nothing and we will not charge you twice for the same face.
