Why this exists
A passport photo is a small thing that goes wrong expensively. The booth at the post office is closed, the studio charges for six prints when you need one digital file, and the online form rejects the result for a reason nobody explains. TakPhoto exists to turn that into thirty seconds and one file that fits the rule you actually have to meet.
Two things follow from that, and they shape every decision here: the requirements must be checked, not guessed, and the photo must not outlive its purpose.
Who we are
TakPhoto is built and run by <OWNER_NAME>, an independent developer in Türkiye. Not a studio chain, not a marketplace, not a startup with a growth team — one person, a server in Frankfurt, and a document database that took longer to assemble than the software did.
That has an obvious limit and an obvious advantage. The limit: we are small, and the support queue is answered by the person who wrote the code. The advantage: nobody here has an incentive to keep your photo, sell your attention or dilute a policy in a quarterly review.
How we check a document
Every document in the catalogue carries one of two badges, and the difference is not cosmetic.
- Verified — a person read the official source (the authority's own page or form), recorded the date, wrote down the measurements, and linked the source on the document page. If the source contradicts what we had, the source wins.
- Standard — the dimensions come from a size database and from ICAO practice, and no official page has been read for this document yet. It is honest work, but we say so rather than pretend.

What we promise about your photo
- It is deleted. Automatically, 30 days after your order — 24 hours if you never paid — and immediately if you press delete. From the database and the file storage at once.
- It is never used to train anything. Not our models, not anybody's. There is no exception buried in the terms.
- It never leaves our servers in the EU. It is processed in Frankfurt, on machines we rent and control, and never sent to an external AI service.
We also never touch your facial features: the optional light retouch removes a transient blemish or a glare on your glasses, never a mole, a scar, or the shape of your face. A passport photo that is not you is worse than no passport photo.
